- Apples are good for the heart healthy heart because of its soluble fiber. Soluble fiber can lower cholesterol levels. If you have lower cholesterol, you also have a lower risk of having gallstones. This fiber can also help you control your weight and also aids in digestion.
- Eating apples can also brighten and make teeth healthier. By munching through apples, you are also stimulating the production of saliva that prevent tooth decay and lowers the level of bacteria in the mouth. Do take note that eating apples are not substitute to brushing your teeth.
- The fiber in apples can also help in diarrhea as it helps slow the bowel movement by absorbing the excess water from it. It can also neutralize irritable bowel syndrome.
